It's been a while...

Recently I've been away with my lover and I've been more and more addicted to music.

I love Nine Inch Nails so much, like everyone else in this damn planet. But Trent's music means so much to me... lol. I promise I'll own a physical copy of PHM and the Broken EP one day.

I am the most creative when I surround myself with music. I'm very glad my lover brought me such joy to my life. I never cared much about actually listening to music properly before around a year ago.

I used to only listen to video game OSTs before, but now I feel like I'm so much more appreciative of art in general... lol.

I've been drawing so much lately... I have to update my portfolio some day.

I don't think I've ever liked drawing this much in my entire life. I'm just having fun and people seem to enjoy it. For some reason that makes me happy.

Knowing that there's people that support my work and notice when I'm having fun and doing it for myself makes me feel like I'm finally reaching people who understand my art.

It's a good feeling to know my artistic expression resonates with others. Doing it for yourself really is the only way to be truthfully happy while being an artist. Especially online.

In the process of changing the canvas size for all of my drawings...

Since I started uploading my stuff on ToyHouse and on here I noticed just how HEAVY my drawings were. Like how the fuck are my drawings that heavy it's not even a painting or anything.

Because of my ridiculous brush (that I am codependent with) I ended up sizing up on my canvas years ago to be able to control it better, but since I've been used to it now, especially after taking so many small commissions over the years, I noticed I didn't need that HUGE canvas anymore.

But now, since I've been not only working on pixel art specifically + lowering up my canvas sizes in general I noticed just how much accessible my stuff is now + how much faster I draw because I have less pixels to worry about.

Years ago me needs to be shot in the head for torturing himself like this.

I've been getting used to drawing pixel art lately. I always drew with a pixelated brush since around 2 years ago? And honestly... I didn't notice how similar my lineart process is to the way I usually do it... bruh.

I feel like such a dumbass for never trying it properly before. This fits my style so well... LOL.

Expect more pixel art from me. I'm enamored with it.

I wasn't planning on making this site something more personal like this but I guess I really wanted to make a space where I could sort of yap about certain topics, things that inspire me, or stuff that happens in my life as a way to express myself.
